Ever felt like you're drowning in everyone else's expectations, trying to keep your head above water in the crazy world of teaching? Yeah, been there, done that. But instead of throwing in the towel, I decided to blaze my own trail.

Let me introduce you to Unhappy Teacher, an online platform that came from a deep need to live authentically and share my story. I found myself trapped in the classroom, feeling stressed and lost under the weight of unrealistic expectations set by my school district. But walking away from teaching wasn't something I was ready for just yet. I knew there was still a spark in me, a love for working with students and witnessing their moments of triumph.

 

So, I decided to make a change. I started creating engaging classroom content and curriculum that not only resonated with me but also brought joy to my students. Along the way, I naturally began to mentor and coach my fellow educators on how to preserve their happiness in the classroom. So, consider me your partner in reclaiming that spark!

 

 My goal? To be blatantly honest, a little silly, have some fun, and make teaching a fulfilling experience again.

 

And you know what? It made a difference. Those tough days started to feel a little more manageable.
